My stay at Hostel Amour D'Auberge was a nice experience, marked by the warm hospitality of the staff and great location. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, perfect for those seeking a genuine Moroccan experience. While the dorm rooms were a bit small and could be noisy at times, the overall vibe and supportive staff more than made up for it.

The rooms were clean but small, which made it a bit tricky to store luggage. The beds were narrow, and although there were no rails on the top bunks, I managed to sleep comfortably. I appreciated having hot water available, though the showers could be inconsistent.

The staff made my stay truly really good. They were eager to help, whether it was arranging treks or simply checking in on me when I felt unwell. Their willingness to go the extra mile, like bringing me soup when I was sick, really stood out.

The hostel is perfectly situated just a short walk from Jemaa El Fna, making it convenient for exploring local attractions. Even though the alley leading to the hostel felt a bit uncomfortable at times, especially as a solo female traveler, I loved being in the heart of the medina.

Breakfast was included and provided a good start to my day with traditional options like crepes and honey. I loved being able to eat on the rooftop terrace, which added to the overall charm of the place.

The hostel had useful amenities like free Wi-Fi and laptop access. While the facilities were basic, they met my needs perfectly. The communal areas were a bit small, but they encouraged a friendly atmosphere among the guests.

I enjoyed my two nights at Hostel Amour D'Auberge. the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Medina and just a minute from the main square. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially with breakfast included. although I felt the atmosphere was lacking for solo travelers like myself. I appreciated the friendly staff, but they seemed somewhat distant, making it difficult to engage. Overall, it's great for groups or travelers looking for basic amenities without spending much.

The dorms were small and a bit dark, but the beds were comfortable. each had a lamp and a plug. I did find the space cramped, which might be a concern for those with larger luggage.
Service

The service was generally friendly but a bit neutral. while they were helpful when asked, I didn't feel much initiative from the staff. They arranged excursions but I got the impression it might be better to book directly.

My stay at Hostel Amour D'Auberge was largely positive. The staff really made me feel at home, especially during a tough time when I fell ill and they kindly brought soup to my bed. However, I did face some issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the breakfast service. Overall, the hostel offered a true Moroccan experience and a great location near Jemaa El Fna.
